From Tbilisi to the Caucasus

Our Georgia adventure perfectly balances world-class freeriding with cultural exploration. On the first day we head to Gudauri for six days of epic mountain adventures including optional heli-skiing, guided backcountry tours, and paragliding. The trip concludes with a cultural immersion back in Tbilisi.

Day 1

Welcome to Georgia!

Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport and transfer directly to Gudauri (2-2.5 hours). Check into your mountain accommodation and get settled. Visit local rental shops to pick up ski/snowboard gear for the week ahead. Evening: Welcome dinner featuring traditional Georgian cuisine - try Khinkali dumplings and Khachapuri cheese bread at a local restaurant like Mtevani or Gudauri Travel Bar. Early rest to prepare for tomorrow's mountain adventures.

International flights not included for maximum flexibility.

Day 2

First Tracks in Gudauri

Sport

Hit the slopes early! Spend the day warming up on Gudauri's diverse terrain and explore the main resort areas around Soliko and Shino lifts to get familiar with the mountain layout.

Afternoon: For your first taste of freeriding, explore accessible off-piste areas from the Kudebi lift - open terrain perfect for powder skiing after fresh snowfall. Safety briefing with our mountain guides about avalanche conditions and terrain assessment.

Evening: Relax at the après-ski scene in the village center, share stories of your first day, and plan tomorrow's more adventurous routes.

Day 3

Kobi Pass Adventure

All-day freeriding expedition to the legendary Kobi Pass! Take the series of gondolas over the pass to access this freerider's paradise. The Kobi side offers wide-open powder fields with stunning views of Mount Kazbek (5,047m).

This area is famous for its consistent deep snow and varied terrain - from gentle bowls perfect for powder turns to steeper faces for advanced riders. Safety is paramount: ride with our guides who know avalanche conditions and safe routes.

Optional: For the ultimate experience, book a helicopter drop to access virgin peaks with 1,000+ meter vertical descents (additional cost, not included in package price, weather dependent).

Evening: Traditional Georgian sauna and hearty mountain dinner to recover from an epic day.

Day 4

Conquering Mount Sadzele

Sport

Ascend to Gudauri's highest accessible point at 3,279m. The views are breathtaking and the long runs down are epic - choose from challenging piste runs or incredible steep off-piste lines. Perfect for beginners to practice technique on groomed runs or for advanced riders to tackle the off-piste terrain.

Evening: Relax in traditional Georgian sauna and enjoy hearty mountain cuisine. Share stories of your epic day while planning tomorrow's adventures.

Day 5

Rest Day

Exploration

Recovery day with optional activities perfect for all skill levels. Visit the iconic Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument for panoramic Caucasus views, or book a tandem paragliding flight for an unforgettable aerial perspective of the Devil's Valley.

For those wanting to stay on the slopes, enjoy gentle runs perfect for building confidence. Afternoon: explore Gudauri village and experience authentic Georgian mountain culture.

Day 6

Guided Adventures

Join our guides for terrain suited to your skill level. Beginners will explore safe off-piste areas with expert instruction, while advanced riders can access challenging terrain. Optional local guides and heli-skiing available for accessing untouched peaks (additional cost, not included in package price).

Evening: Traditional Georgian feast with live music and local Chacha tastings - celebrate your mountain adventures with new friends!

Day 7

Last Runs & Transfer to Tbilisi

Sport

Morning: Final skiing session to make the most of your last day on the mountain! Enjoy your favorite runs and capture final memories on the slopes.

Afternoon: Transfer to Tbilisi (2.5 hours).

Evening: Explore Old Town's cobblestone streets, cable car ride to Narikala Fortress for stunning city views, and experience the famous Abanotubani sulfur baths - the perfect way to relax tired muscles after days of mountain adventures.

Day 8

Tbilisi Cultural Immersion

Exploration

Visit Dry Bridge Flea Market for unique Soviet-era memorabilia and handmade crafts - a fascinating cultural experience. Explore local neighborhoods and discover hidden gems with incredibly affordable prices.

Evening: Farewell dinner at an authentic Georgian restaurant with traditional music - try Shkmeruli chicken and Georgian Saperavi wine at unbeatable prices!

Day 9

Departure

Final Georgian coffee before departure - enjoy the incredibly affordable prices one last time! Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport with memories of epic powder, dramatic mountain landscapes, and warm Georgian hospitality. Take home stories of an adventure that cost a fraction of what you'd pay in the Alps!
